The chefs get the grunt of it but the waitresses are always being watched and yelled at also. As well as that, we have to tell customers that want to pay in cash to pay at the register not through the waitress. This is so any spare change is put into a tip box, not given to the waitress. the box gets a lot on money put into it. in 12 months working there I have not seen a cent. So last week I realised the pressure of this job was affecting my school work. I am finishing school and I really need to do the best I can. So I gave my two weeks. I didn't realise it, but that day another waitress and a bartender quit. This seems to have spurred a mass exodus, and a further two waitresses and a chef have quit. he was clearly stressed about it, little does he know that two more waitresses are quitting, without notice! I feel bad because I know I can get another job, but this is this man's livelihood, and I don't want to be part of the reason things go wrong for him. what is the right thing to do? I'd say its misplaced consideration. Women want a male that has not only respect for them but also has a sexual interest in them, I know it sounds odd to some guys but its true. Women are looking for that guy that make them feel "wanted" so Im sure the guy who was making small talk just either came off as cheesy or the girl didn't find him attractive at all to begin with which is common and ok. You may see women as a victim and you might be inadvertently looking for a women whom you can rescue. The problem with that is women dont really need or want rescuing when it comes to courtship. They want to be pursued. They want that HUNTER type male who appears strong enough to get what he needs, a good provider. But keep in mind that even while pursuing a woman, you must remain respectful or else, she's gone. Which brings up another point and actually a very common theme in men. You probably dont respect women entirely if you hold a view of them as a victim. Work on seeing them as equal counterparts. When the true respect starts to show then so will that social energy you need to land a hottie, imo. And dont worry about the blokes who can gab with any female at anytime. Some are really good at it and others just dont care about the girl and are lying to them. Im 14 abd ride bulls, i know from personel experience that the bulls are not abused in any way. My favorite will be Michael Redd. He was a 43rd pick and managed to work his way up to be the best player out of that year 2000 draft. His rookie year he didn't really get to play much and all his hard work and ethics went on getting him into the all star game, redeem team, and also one of the best pure shooter ever. Sadly his knee blew out 2 season in a row hopefully that isn't the end of him. Redd also has a cool head and never got into a fight nor he cusses. Strange looking beetle thingy?

Was I just bit by a venomous snake? Please help.?

So I was outside cleaning up some old lumber and I found what I thought was a small rat snake- which usually aren't very aggressive. I picked it up to take it away from the house and right before I let it go it gave me a casual bite on my left index finger. I sat it down on the ground and it slithered away. I looked at my hand and i had four tiny bite marks -top and bottom teeth I guess- on my finger. Its about an hour later and its tingling a little but no swelling or discoloration. But I am very worried if it was a copperhead- I live in Maryland and we do have them in the area. From what I remember of the snake it had the banding but did not have the triangular head- it was a very streamlined head. I couldn't see the shape of the pupils because the snake had cataracts. I dont want to go to the hospital for no reason. If anyone has advise about the symptoms of a venomous bite- other than don't pick up snakes- I would really appreciate it.

Cant authorise ipad on itunes ipad is now empty!!?

I updated my ipad to firmware 4.3.3.. My partner came along and tried to jailbreak it using the program "spirit"... He assumed the jailbreaking didnt work for some reason.. He used the ipad and turned it completey off.. I went to use it the next morning and the icon came up with the white usb cord and told me to connect it to itunes.. I assume since it ws jailbroken and turned off u have to restore it to work again.. Ive been told once u jailbreak it and it turns off it will never turn back on.. Anyway my partner plugged it into itunes and it says "sorry we we're unable to authorise the ipad try agian latr' or something along those lines.. So now the ipad is empty cant turn it on past the page that says connect to itunes.. Its not authorising or being activated in the computer so that means i cant even get to the summary page to restore it.. What can i do?? Thanks

Pros and Cons (if any) of Spurs trading Parker?

Well the teams that seem to be the most possible to get him, as of now, is the Sacramento Kings and the Toronto Raptors. If Sac gets him (which i think they would before Raptors) then they would trade the 7th pick in the 1st round and Omri Casspi for Tony. I think it is a good choice for Kings, as they are looking for a veteran PG, and Omri Casspi wants to leave, because he doesn't get much playing time, AND Spurs are looking for a high pick in the draft. Osteochondroma what do I do?

I've been diagnosed with an osteochondra/bone tumor (not to be confused with a spur! It's apparently 2inches long!) on the pad of my heel and several doctors/physical therapists/other dancers have said I should get it removed while one doctor (who is the most specialized I've seen) has said, as long as it's not hurting right in that place and it's not growing (I had a bone scan, but don't know the results yet) I don't need the surgery. The thing is, it doesn't hurt all the time or anything, and I have a suspicion that it's done growing, but when I dance (I do ballet, so it's very demanding on the feet!) it can be more of a problem. Also, I had achilles tendonitis, so I got a bit caught up in the idea that it was related to the osteochondroma, and I realize now that this may have given the doctor the impression that I was mostly complaining about the tendonitis, which he didn't think was related to the bone. I've had physical therapy for my achilles tendonitis since (as per his prescription) and it's definitely gotten better, and I've even noticed that I have less pain around the osteochondroma area from prolonged walking (that's when it hurts other than when I'm dancing), but it's hard to say if the osteochondroma is something I'll be able to deal with going into my professional career this september. So I'm freaking out and I don't know what to do, and I don't know if I should get surgery or not and I'd really like some advice. The most specialized doctor (orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine and who's worked with dancers) thinks I can deal with it, and everyone else thinks I need surgery. I'm inclined to believe it will cause problems in the future and therefore I should get surgery, but I really don't know. Time is ticking away and I'm scared; not of surgery but of the aftermath/recovery. Also, it's causing my mom to get really worked up/worried about finances, so I don't want to make her pay for an expensive surgery if I "might not need it" Please, I need advice.

I was in a car accident back in the the first part of 2010 I sustained a lower lumber injury with disc herniation in the lower lumbar... with L4-L5 and S1 being injured. I have done the steroid injections and minor physical therapy. The clinics let me go without paying upfront and my PT wouldn't allow me to go unless I paid upfront since I did not have med pay on my policy. The insureds insurance company was not willing to pay anything out until I settle so I had to stop going to PT. The injury has effected my life in a variety of ways such as daily activity, intimacy with women, and my general physical demeanor has diminished since accident. Its been a year and five months since my injury and Ill admit its not as bad as it once was, but am I in no way healed. My neurosurgeon doesn't want to operate to deal with the numbness and sharp pains as I am only 26 yrs old. My hospital bills are 17K and the adjust called me today and offered me 26K to settle and this has been his first offer since my consideration to settle. My question is your thoughts on if this is fair and if not what your opinion of what fair would be. I am in no way trying to get rich off this but just want to be adequately compensated for my injuries and disruption of daily life. Thanks

Depends on how they handle the transfer market. Villa are good at grooming players but they just sell them, never actually building their own squad. They will need to get some good players, keep them, and work from there if they are to be Europa contending team (too much competition to get into the CL for them). Tottenham are notoriously bad in the trasnfer market but they are certainly in a better position than Villa right now with the players they have. What would you do when a friend calls you from out of area and ask you to do something...?

I had a call from a friend who is coming down to visit me for a help. He then said he wanted me to find a lumber store (not one of these Home Center Retail Store Locations), and get a price on a pressure treated post and asked me to call him back. That was 6 pm, Of course the store was closed so I could not get a price. Meantime I asked my friend in town to see if they know a good place to buy lumbers cheap. I have a beautiful APHA mare who I've been leasing for 7 months now and she literally does it all. Western pleasure, english pleasure, gaming, jumping, trails. EVERYTHING. But she's very marish and thinks she's the boss and thinks its okay to push me around. I have to ride with spurs and if those don't work then I ride with both a crop and spurs. She throws a fit at least twice everytime I ride. When I lunge her she only goes to a trot and if I try to make her go faster she pins her ears and has even kicked at me. But she can be a very good girl too. She's always happy to see me and walks right up to me when I go get her from the pasture. I just don't understand why she throws ***** fits all the time. How do you remove an ink and a methylated spirit stain from a curtain?

I tried removing the ink stain using methylated spirit and it's left a big purple/blue stain. I then tried a little hydrogen peroxide and now a little patch is bleached which I know is permanent and I'm very upset about itIt also on the day the stain happened i tried nail polish remover. I then got hold of the spirit a couple of days later. Any suggestions of how I can improve this?

There is this man I met who was exactly everything and MORE than what i could dream of having in a partner (im not talking about the superficial things about a person, but the inside), to the point where i thought god answered all my prayers, i loved his imperfections, even those little details about a person, comments, jokes, every action made me happy, especially his spirit and his heart. I really like this guy Drew who's friends with my best friend Matt (name's changed for security reasons). I was at Matt's house with him and two other guys. Matt, drew, and I were all watching Sweeney Todd but eventually got bored of the movie and started wrestling. The other day my friend tried to purchase alcohol using a fake ID in Pennsylvania. We were at a state run wine and spirits store and the cashier scanned his card and made him sign a receipt acknowledging his age. After she returned his ID she looked at the receipt for a while and determined the ID was fake. She asked for it back and kicked him out of the store. His ID had all of his real information on it except for his date of birth. This may sound dumb but he was trying not to be charged with impersonation or identity theft if he ended up getting caught. Should I quit my job? It is depressing me.?

I'm 18 years old, have a wonderful girlfriend, a car that works great, I live at home, and don't have to pay rent with a supportive family, and I have a 40 hour week job, in the lumber yard at our local hardware store. I plan on working here for another year, then going to school. However, my job is horrid. My boss is always stressed out and angry, and every time he is around me, my blood pressure skyrockets. I only get paid minimum wage, I can't run the forklift cause I'm not 21 and therefore I have to do all the dirty work. like sweeping and picking up garbage. The guy I work with the most has not picked up a broom for the entire 3 months I work there. Once the yard manager leaves, he gets on the forklift and moves lumber piles around all night, leaving me to deal with all the customers and clean up. I get sick at the thought of going to work, and I seem to be depressed and down all of the time. But my parents just think that I want to quit because I'm lazy which is not true at all. Why do some Christians seem to think they have been saved by just asking?

I'm not wanting any rude answers but i just want to know who told them they are saved. I know when i was growing up as a fundamentalist i was always hearing different people in discussions or at Church claiming they were saved . Even then i would ask how they knew and who told them, and would normally be treated like i was stupid for asking or told because the spirit has not spoken to me. I've actually known some of these claimed to be saved people get angry and fight or threaten others and some times over there interpretation of the bible against there's.
